Right after Christmas, I changed my mind about sharing some of my favorite things to give and get. But I do want to share the thing at the very top of my list because, like Oprah, I get to give one away to one of you!
This necklace was my favorite gift of 2008. It is a pendant and snake chain from the Etsy shop: Home Studio. They are beautifully repurposed scrabble tiles in a huge variety of designs for a very reasonable cost. Mike and I gave them to both of our mothers, his grandmothers and sister and he surprised me with my very own! What I love best is how much fun it will be to change these up as I get more pendants!

i love those! they are just the type of necklace i wear (and i wear necklaces a lot...more than any other jewelery.) they look like they would withstand the baby tugging, too!
