LIttle Pick Me Up

Well, I have to admit I have been spending this day (and a few previous) just feeling rather dumpy and unmotivated and sorry- for- myself-ish. And then don't I get TWO lovely packages in the mail today? You may recognize this little stamp from Melissa's craft disorder.

Oh, thank you Little Pink House!

And then this gem from Joanie at Nini Makes. I won a little giveaway not too long ago and here is my prize! It came rather quickly for crossing the ocean with all its gorgeous stamps: thank you Royal Mail!

Look how beautifully she packaged everything up! Not just ONE package to open, but a sweet little pile of them. I ALMOST waited and spread them out...

But I think I've mentioned before that patience is not a natural quality of mine ;-)

Thank you ladies. You are both so thoughtful and inspiring. And just when I was getting tempted to give up blogging too....

Please don't stop blogging!! I love your little blog...it makes me feel like there IS innocence and loveliness in the world! It's like coming home...

Don't worry about feeling down; life is short but also wide: this too shall pass. It won't last forever. Feel it, then let it go.

As I've said before, your blog is an inspiration and a breath of fresh air. Keep it up!!

Oh, such pretty little things! :)

Sorry I haven't been around much either. Once we get through this crazy month, hopefully I can start catching up on some writing and reading! Miss you..

Maybe you just need to take a "blog holiday" like me and start up again once you feel more refreshed and re-focused. Please don't quit though. :(

Give up! No way, just do what I do and add to it when you can, never feeling like you have to. For me it helps me make a record of things for the whole family that I would otherwise forget about.

So glad Royal Mail performed to quickly! I have to say I'm amazed.

What an awesome pick me up! I love them! I'd miss you if you stopped blogging, but I understand how it might feel like a burden with such a busy family! Wellness wishes going your way!
