Better

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. No, this is not a representation of me last week. Well, it wasn't supposed to be. Now that I look at it again...... bloodshot eyes, mouth-breathing, grouchy. Maybe it is. Gonna have to ask Mike about that one.

Really, I think I'm on the upswing. I'm still paranoid that Ellerie is not responding to the antibiotic for her ear infections and I'm currently unable to turn my head directly to the left due to some serious pain in my neck, but I'm pretty sure those things are unrelated. Yeah, I read it again. They can't be related, right? More likely it's from sleeping funny in order to gain clear passage to at least one nostril. You know, for breathing. I like to breathe. It's how I roll.

The monster (that I am now hoping is not me) was born Saturday in an "I want to draw with Daddy" session. There's a reason for it: Daddy can draw.

And now he's hung, with appropriate warning, where he belongs:

The boys' door.

i thought for sure that it would be hung on YOUR door. that would be funny. as for monsters, callahan picked out a hairy monster costume for halloween. she's obsessed with sulley from monsters, inc. right now so she thinks it's a sulley. i just think the costume is so fitting of the little troll that will be wearing it!

That's a pretty cool monster! Hope you continue to feel better. A pain in the neck (figurative OR literal) is never good.

I hope you are feeling better! He really can draw. Why did he draw a picture of me for their door?

Excellent monster! Glad to hear your feeling better except for the neck. Neck pain is awful. Hope that's feeling better now.
If it isn't get your husband to use his thumbs and lotion and push in at the base of your scull and pull it down the neck muscle all the way to your shoulder. If it feels like someone is ripping your arm off he's doing it right. It will feel better later. I am always paranoid about atibiotics for the kids too. Why do we do that?

I hope your neck gets better soon , I had neck pain a few weeks back from digging the allotment - oohh getting older is fun (and I am only 35!). I can relate to the nose thing too after spending ages last night getting to sleep one side, the other, the other just to clear my nose ggggrrr! Olbas oil is being used tonight i think. Loving the monster, hope he scares any more lurgy's away.
