Another Award For Sure

This morning, I am just waiting for my Mother of the Year award to arrive. Sure to be nominated and a cinch to win it after my kids woke up at 7 and spent the last hour scarfing down candy from Cal's end-of-baseball-goody-bag and doing what can only be described as

the little kid Pixie Stix version of

a keg stand in my dirty breezeway.

Am I going to feed them breakfast?
Maybe.

yup, MOTY for sure.

Oh my! I think you might be in for an adrenalin fueled day after all that candy eating at the start of the day! I just love that first photo, it captures the essence of their activity, their faces trying to hide their glee.

Ready for this one? My mother commented last night again how much she enjoyed seeing you, and how cute Ellerie is, and how much she enjoyed talking to Cal. Then she said - you'll love this - that she didn't get to talk to Tate much, because he's such a quiet and retiring kid. I laughed out loud and told her that there's a difference between obsessed with video games and quiet and retiring. :o)

Oh, why wait for it to be in a box, shaped like rings and multi-colored. Straight to the source!

Thanks for writing this. I love ending my day with a whole body laugh. You are awesome. I'm waiting for my MOTY award for teaching my now almost six year old at ago two the F$&@ bomb. Oh, the S$&@ bomb, too. My husband says, thanks to me, our daughter can hold her own on a construction site.

xoxo

I need to clarify the above MOTY lessons. I was pregnant, on bed rest & my husband was working 100 weeks for the power company in a raging wind storm season. So, there was all that, too, when B was two.

I can be found doing a similar dance at Easter with Cadbury's Mini Eggs.
