It was love at first sight.
And, really,
I could not just leave him there by the side of the road,
abandoned.
Left by a generation that has deemed him
"unsafe."
In spite of his lack of buckles and straps
(or, perhaps, because of)
and his being of a certain age,
and in spite of me no longer being of the
babymaking sort,
I love him dearly and shall not forsake him
though his bottom is a bit saggy.

I think your true love is older than mine! Have you researched what era he comes from?
Beautiful! In such great condition too. Can't believe you found it on the side of the road. Will it go in Ellerie's room?
Wow! That is a score indeed. I love your words with your pictures! Enjoy your new ride however you use him.

That thing rocks! I wish I could fit in there! What a cool find!
I would have snatched it up, too! A perfect blanket, doll, toy, fabric, book holder! Sweet!

Oh, it IS a beauty!
WOW! I wanted one of these so bad when I was pregnant with #2...I am in love. This is awesome! Who would just get rid of it? People are crazy! Great find!
The frames make great improvised go-carts when they are folded down. Hmm, I'm not sure that my parents knew that we used to treat their pram in that way...
