#3

The third quilt in the Judy, Jill and Jean quilts is finished! Pretty much like #1 and #2, only edged and bound with more blues and greens.

The back is part of a thrifted IKEA duvet cover decorated, of course, with the paper doll fabric and some more vintage family pieces. The duvet had a few little holes, so no longer a happy cover, but the perfect back to a quilt if I do say so. I am excited to have more of that fabric lying around. I have never really been a fan of hearts on things, but clearly doodle hearts are a different story.

Now, we'll just have to paint that bunk bed for The Bird. Considering it took me over two years to make the quilts, lets just not hold our breath or anything, k?

K: ) That is so gorgeous! I can't say how much I admire you for finishing those. It is worth the two years without a doubt. I paid an arm and a leg for a quilt recently and it's nice but not at all personal. Yours are way more cool!!!

Well, hello! Glad to see you've emerged out from under that rock you've been hiding. :) Seriously, has the entire blogosphere gone silent lately? It is a bit disconcerting. Two years to make some quilts? Honestly, is impressive to me! I usually just start projects and never finish them. It's ridiculous. My studio is mocking me.

Love it! You did a great job. Glad you are enjoying your fall already...still pretty hot here with only a cool day sprinkled in now and then (Fort Worth, TX).
